Q: In case I remove my nose piercing (nostril or septum) before it's done healing, what will happen?
A: It will heal shut. You may or may not wind up with a mark or dent of some sort. I understand this may seem obvious to some, but clearly it's not to others, as I get questioned this very regularly.

Q: Exactly what do I do when My nose ring had accidentally knocked or pulled out of my nose, and I cannot get it back in?
A: Many recovery nose piercings close up really fast if the accessories comes out in the middle of the healing period. So that you don't result in a lot of injury and end up with mark tissue, it's recommended to allow your nose totally heal before you get it pierced again.

Q: How long does my nose need to be recovered before the hole will try and close, If I need to remove a nose ring temporarily?
A: No clue. A few people's nose piercings are quite stable after the initial 3 month recovery period and some take much longer. There's no way to be able to tell when the piercing gets stable. Some never do.

Q: When I take out my nose ring, Will the hole shut?
A: Normally. Nobody can tell how your personal nose will decide to react once you remove the accessories, but the hole will shrink down. But no one can estimate how much. You might end up with a tiny dent or it could be barely visible.
